IS-BAO is an acronym that stands for the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations. Established in 2002, the IS-BAO standard is based on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standard. The IS-BAO Audits concentrate on the Operator’s Safety Management System (SMS). It guides the Operator from establishing an SMS to full implementation within the company.
